The unit is OK.
I tested it for 24V input, 11V output ay 10A current.
The output voltage is relatively constant (from 11.5V no load to 11.2V at 10A).
The temperatures are:
100 dgr.C for transformer,
100 dgr.C for one heatsink and 80 dgr.C for the other.

A good DC-DC converter. I use it to regulate the output power of a LED power supply for my hobby projects. The filter capacitor for the trimmer potentiometer has a dedicated spot on the PCB. This is not common for some of these boards which can be annoying when you want to replace the trimmers to some other potmeters. The solders look nice and clean. Heatsink goes hot when larger power is used, so it is a good idea to use some fan to keep it cool.

it's a buck converter, that means it can only step voltage down (i.e. outgoing voltage is lower than what u give it) otherwise, what @sbrsdr wrote is completely wrong, you can ask even 20A at 2V if you really want to, it wont get really hot.

Q:
How many Ohms is the current adjustment potentiometer? How many Ohms is the voltage adjustment potentiometer?
How many Ohms is the current adjustment potentiometer? How many Ohms is the voltage adjustment potentiometer?
Being current and voltage on the output load mutually dependent according to the Ohm law: R * I = V ,
I would have expected only one potentiometer, labelled – say – as “voltage regulator”, to adjust both voltage and current, being the current necessarily defined by Voltage/LoadResistance.
What’s the reason and the meaning of having two instead?
Thank you.

Pots are used to set the maximum output of voltage and current. If you only have a pot for voltage, you can't control the amperage, and vice versa.

Q:
1- What is the Ah spent with no conection on output?
2- My solar system battery has range of 10.5 at 14.4 on extreme working mode. I need 12v stable constant on output with this range I told. This module board can do that? (IN: 10.5v at 14.4v variable / OUT: 12v stable)

I need to have 8 volts at up to 20 amps into an electrolysis cell to produce chlorine in a swimming pool. Would this work off a 300-500 watt solar panel(s) at max 30volts to give my required supply to the cell?

Only the DC voltage conversion module,
With a wide input voltage range from 6V to 40V, the step-down converter can accurately adjust output voltage and current.

Is this just step down converter or is it also step up?
Is this just step down converter or is it also step up?
I am not entirely sure because I have not tested it yet. Although the Input Amp should be whatever the component draws at that time. If you reduce the Voltage, you increase the Ampere and if you increase the voltage, the amp will decrease.

Hello I tried to desolder the two pots on the board to change them for external pots exactly like Roter36 in the second photo, I destroyed the SM resistor and the tracks on the board. The three pin sockets would not go in the pcb hole so drilled them out, by this time the module was not repairable. The second converter is on its way from Banggood and hope someone can help. PS I'm an Electrician not electronics Engineer !!! Many thanks Andy.

Q:
Hi, can the minimum output voltage go lower?
I need very good constant current regulation even at very low voltage for electroplating, how will this unit perform at low constant currents and low voltage? Typically with other supplies I turn voltage up without much regard for what it is set to and then adjust the constant current to required setting. Would this unit be capable of this?
Thanks

I purchased this in anticipation of a great project, having read all the reviews it looked good but never did work correctly. it doesn't matter what voltage/current you feed in it will only allow a maximum of 2.9 volts out. I have tried every combination of pawer supplies but without any luck. I have contacted Babyhood customer support a few times over the last 2 weeks but they don't reply. I'll be sorry to lose them as a supplier but if they don't give support then I'll have no choice. a link to my problems.
sorry about the 3D printer working away in the background https://youtu.be/3EoG54JzOL4

Hi.
I am using these for a number of projects I have but I have a question about the constant current output. It doesn't seem to work for me as when I turn the potentiometer there is no reduction or increase in current. Is their a certain setup it needs to be in so as to provide a specified constant current?

Hi, actually I just tested the voltage output regulation but not the current regulation. I need to further testing to do. But remember that the output current is always dependent on the load which is connected. In example if you have 12V output and 12V constant load (such as resistance load) you cannot feed more amperes with the constant voltage to it. What project do you use it for?

I see the CC and CV potentiometers soldered. Can I remove these and take it to a front panel with normal pots for user adjustment ? If so what values should I use for the pots ?

Yes, you shiuld be able to do it as long as you keep the distance as short as possible. Pots are used as a voltage divider to create a voltage reference.
