I use it to convert an old ATX power supply to a power supply for diy projects. Beware terminals are not compatible with banana plugs.
I'll probably make a 3d printed box to protect against short cictuit

Q:
Do you have the datasheet or the schematic of this item? Thanks.

You don't need any schematic. This takes the voltages on the 24-pin ATX power connector (-12V, +12, +5V, +3.3V, and Ground. The PCB connects the voltages to a series of screw connectors, which are clearly labelled and shown in the photos. There is a switch that triggers the ATX "power on" terminal, which starts up your power supply. What else could you possibly need to know that is not already in the description and shown in the photographs?

F5A fuses are built in. I have a PC power supply which can supply at 12V 20A. If you want to use these high currents, you have to coat the circuit boards thick with tin or solder thick copper wires. Then you can also install stronger fuses and use high currents.

The +12V, Gnd(0V) and -12V connections may be used where you need balanced supplies e.g. for (some) Op-Amp or power-amp circuits. You need to check the ATX power supply for what current it can supply to both rails.

Q:
Do any of you geeks have a idea on how to get 2 +12V (positive) ports? I have as much use for -12V (negative) as I have a use for herpes, so instead I want to turn the negative into an additional +12V port. Can I just cut the negative wires and hotwire the pins on the connector instead? Any thoughts?

Just connect the ground output (black) to the POSITIVE supply of the circuit, and the -12V (red) connector to the GROUND Supply. Be sure to have the circuit isolated from any other circuits including any output signals..

Q:
How much current (Amps), or how much power (Watts) can be run through the 12v PCB tracks safely?
Yes, they're fused @ 20A, but is this the limit of the hardware or just a convenient fuse to utilise? 240w doesn't seem very high for this application...

because it add tax to it? also check from which warehouse it's coming. In Australia price change widely between them.

That's a pity! Doesn't have -5v bourne...-5v is very useful when working with opamp dual supply and there are many PS with it! I have one that I made and help a lot.

Does this unit have an electrical schematic available for customer use? I need a pinout for the molex connector. Why? Well I have 24 pin power supply and I could not get it to work! But The PSU was an odd use item from Dell. If I knew what the onboard molex connector, in this product is, then I could make a jumper or adapter cable to match it to the power supply. larry mayfield

Pinout of this unit is the standard ATX available easily searching in Google. as far as I know, Dell use a different pinout on their PSU. Detected the ground GND and probe them in respect of GND on the Dell side and make the adaptor. That's what I would do
