Very good accessory to have in the workshop for checking or metrics identifcation for bolts, nuts and related stuff. Construction is robust and quality is super. Nothing compared with other plastic cheap ones.... this is much better!

I have a similar version to this on steel cable made by Sealey and they are great, but this is a whole new level. It's a solid piece of machined aluminium, loads of choices for bolts, well labelled and I cannot fault it.

Q:
Metric is self explanatory, but what is Standard<br/>Is it BSW, UNC, UNF, BA, BSP, NTP etc etc

I would say UNC and UNF as those are the most common. All the others are either antique as BSW British Standard Whitworth is or are pipe threads and BA British Association screw threads which are a rarity these days. Have a read on Wikipedia about the BSW as that thread actually facilitated the world's first mass production by multiple manufacturers simultaneously. Ninety in number sixty horsepower engines for the Royal Navy in 90 days. This was in 1855.
