The GPS is amazing! I can get satellites in the basement of my 100 year old 3 story home sometimes! Outside, satellites lock quickly and remain rock-solid. Typically 12-14 satellites.
The compass orientation took some fussing. When you mount the antenna up (which you should be doing, the compass is flipped. Therefore, be sure to set the compass orientation to FLIP. Further, the orientation is sideways! So, you need to set the compass orientation in your flight controller configurator to "CW 270 Flip" if the wires are towards the back of your craft. If you mount it so the wires are to the front, you need to set the compass orientation to "CW 90 Flip". After this and compass calibration, everything is perfect. I hope this saves some time for someone out there.

What is the name of the white connector that this GPS uses? I would like to design a PCB to interface with it, so I need to know this information. Many thanks

These are straight forward GPS module designed to be used alongside a flight controller, as such I do not believe they have any restrictions and are simply measuring GPS coordinates. I'm pretty sure the altitude is also triangulated, but that's as far as it goes it simply p as sses that information to the FC.

Q:
Can this GPS be programmed using the FT232RL USB serial converter in combination with the u-center software?
Can this GPS be programmed using the FT232RL USB serial converter in combination with the u-center software?
You can connect to this GPS by FTDI and u-center software and make changes in configuration - I did this and its working. However I believe I did not succeed to made changes permanent - when power cycle the GPS the settings was as original. Maybe I did something wrong when storing the new config (it needs to use proper command in the u-center).

Q:
how to configure to 10hz instead of the default 1hz ?
how to configure to 10hz instead of the default 1hz ?
Goals
Enabling UBLOX7 protocol to obtain 10Hz update rate.
Results
UBLOX7 is configured only "randomically", most of the time the unit is configured using the standard UBLOX configuration with POSLLH instead of PVT sentence.
Used Hardware:
I'm testing a BN-880 GPS+GLONASS+GALILEO (3.01) on an OMNIBUS F3 board.
First setup
UART @115200bps UBLOX7 chosen in the configurator.
Plug the battery, BN-880 start blinking at 1Hz, after seconds the buzzer kicks in. GPS ERROR (red icon) and timeouts (4) are reported in the GPS tab.
INAV then reconfigures it and then the unit starts to blink faster at 5Hz and no PVT sentence enabled.
At this point to simulate a warm startup, I enter CLI and let the FC reboot. Again 90% of the time PVT sentence is not configured and UBLOX at 5Hz is set.
Second setup
UART @57600bps UBLOX7 chosen in the configurator.
With this setup the buzzer no more kicks in and 40% of the times UBLOX7 with PVT sentence is enabled on boot again with the same delay.
At this point to simulate a warm startup, I enter CLI and let the FC reboot. Again 90% of the time PVT sentence is not configured and UBLOX at 5Hz is set.
Tests done
I've edited to code and tried to stretch the timeouts in the unit initialization and I've to say that the rate of success has increased but nevertheless this increase init time of the unit and if it happens during flight can pose a serious threat to GPS modes.
Possibile "solutions"
I've seen that the code d

Q:
Why can't it be ordered from Russia? the address is written, but from China everything is normal
почему не получается заказать из России ? адрес наверный пишет, но с Китая все норм идёт
Idon’t know, I have to tinker, experiment. This is not a product plug and play, read and try on the forums in different ways. But after setup it works well.

the pin pitch of this cable is WIDER than the flight controller cables, so you will have to splice them together because this will NOT plug directly into ANY flight controller UART port.If you can't solder or make tiny cables, it's NOT FOR YOU!

you certainly can use BN-880 on your quad, however it is quite large size which is more suitable to airplanes than quads. I recommend you buy the smaller BN-220 instead

I do not have Flycolor X-Tower to confirm the compatibility of this GPS module. However, in general, when you want to connect a GPS module to a flight controller, your FC needs to have an open (free) UART- which consist of 5vdc, Ground, TX and RX terminals. Made your connection (usually by soldering) the GPS connection wires to FC with TX of GPS to RX of FC and RX of GPS to TX of FC. Set up your Ports in Betaflight with the corresponding GPS module; enable GPS in Betaflight with Ublox protocol...
