Have changed the USB chip, improve the download speed and stability of WIN7/WIN8 Note: Need to install CH341SER driver, here is the link: Click to open
Microcontroller ATmega328 Operating Voltage (logiclevel): 5V Input Voltage (recommended): 7V ~ 12V Input Voltage (limits): 6V ~ 20 V Digital I/O Pins: 14 (of which 6 provide PWM output) Analog Input Pins: 8 DC Current per I/O Pin: 40mA Flash Memory: 32KB (ATmega328) (of which 2 KB used by bootloader) SRAM: 2KB (ATmega328) EEPROM: 1KB (ATmega328) Clock Speed: 16MHz
All the other Arduino boards I have got from BangGood have used either the USB drivers from Arduino or FTDI. This one didn't use either but I found the required driver CH341SER at http://www.winchiphead.com/download/CH341/CH341SER.ZIP all now working OK MikeN

Salut, I only had to remove one star on quality as the driver software for the FTDI chip (CH340G) was missing. It can be found here: www.winchiphead.com/download/CH341/CH341SER.ZIP. The upload speed if pretty fast, the board looks well done and the price is unbeatable. Ciao, Mathias

Do you mean that the computer cannot recognize the device? Try changing the wire?

Q:
If you have to download different drivers and add additional steps, how is this an improved device over the Arduino Nano for us non-geeks that only know how to turn on a computer?

You are right. for absolute beginners, Arduino and Raspberry Pico are the best to start with because they are very well documented and supported.
If you are willing to spend the time on it, try a unified environment that supports different kinds of cards based on the processor on them:
e.g. look for "Arduino IDE alternatives to start programming"

I have the review blocked just to tell anyone who can't send code besides having to install the CH341SER driver you have to select in arduino program tools and choose nano card and processor choose 328p old bootloader

What is the difference between direct mail and normal mail? I would just like to know, because our mail system is really bad and I would like not to use it.
